IT’S 77 DEGREES IN FEBRUARY…

…so here is where you can find cold beers and good snacks outside so you and your friends don’t have to sit there and talk about whose patio is open for twenty minutes.

Pork & Beans: Their garage doors will be open today and beers will be flowing on this mini 6th St patio.  And check out their new happy hour menu ($2 off draft beers and a bar menu) while you are at it!

täkō: Snag one of the counter seats outside today and you can count yourself one of the luckiest ones in Pittsburgh.

Il Tetto:  This patio is ready at a moments notice and it built for amazing weather like today.

Round Corner Cantina: The patio standard of Pittsburgh will rightfully be packed on this spectacular, sunny winter (?) day.

Grapperia: A handful of tables will be popped outside and the garage door will be letting the breeze in for a nice glass of wine or a grappa 75.

New Amsterdam: Their rooftop patio opened later than most wanted last year.  But that just gives you all the more reason to make a visit today.

Strip District

Kaya: Cause we never need an excuse to hit up their half off drinks happy hour…so the outdoor seating just sweetens the deal.

Gaucho:  Bring a six pack and get in line.  Its gonna be a while but it will be worth it to sit on their side patio for an al fresco Argentinian feast…and you will need another six pack for that.

Shadyside/East Liberty

5801: Take your party to this rooftop that will be buzzy from open to close today.

Mad Mex.  The windows will be up and the drinks will be going down at happy hora (half off drafts from 4:30-6:30) and all night long.

Kelly’s.  This perennially overlooked patio is ready and waiting for you with half off drafts and snacks at happy hour and their stand-by $4 cocktail.

Independent Brewing or Hidden Harbor.  Whether you go tropical or beer, enjoy both out front in the sunshine.

Grist House: Expect their patio and beer garden to be packed with dogs, a food truck and their solid line up of brews.

2018 Update:

Merchant Oyster Co: Peel and eat shrimp, pitchers of ice cold beer and picnic tables out front.  What else could you want?

Dianoia’s: Go straight for your warm weather classics like a Negroni or an Aperol spritz.  Paired with a pizza and a window seat please!

Millies: If you need an excuse to eat more ice cream (we don’t), what better excuse than near record-breaking temperatures!
