Living in the city is great, right? All of the best restaurants within walking distance, the sweet lullaby of sirens and car horns singing you to sleep, and coffee shops a plenty. We city goers can’t see life any other way. But sometimes, we can’t help but wonder about suburban living; green grass, fresh fruit and veggies growing in your back yard, and reading our favorite book under a big tree.

No worries! No need to give up the skyscrapers and  Pittsburgh skyline that can’t be beat. The Urbanist and Bluebird Kitchen are teaming up to give you the best of both worlds.

Join us for a relaxing afternoon in the park on August 17. You bring a blanket, a book, or a bocce set; we’ll bring you an amazing picnic fully stocked for two from Bluebird Kitchen. Sound good? Great, see you there!

We’ll have your picnic ready at a table outside of Gateway Towers (adjacent to the park, 320 Ft Duquesne Blvd) to pick up from 12:30-1:30. After you can stroll across the street to the park and spend the afternoon eating and relaxing!
