It’s our favorite time of the season: the day we get to welcome a brand new Urbanist Guide into the Pittsburgh world! As always, we’re celebrating a new guide packed full of the city’s best in dining, drinking, shopping and exploring, including old friends, reliable neighborhood haunts and exciting new faces from all over the map.

Our 2019 cover features The Bureau barista Rachel and cute pup Charlie in the beautiful (and still new-ish) Schoolhouse Electric store in East Liberty, which is quickly becoming our favorite spot in town to grab a latte and shop for home goods.  This guide also brings back our print interviews, featuring Millie’s owners Chad & Lauren Townsend along with ever-inspiring ceramist Reiko Yamamoto, who echoes our love for The Bureau and their spectacularly delicious chocolate chip cookie.

To really celebrate our new guide, we’re bringing back our seasonal launch party. Like in years past, expect to see some new faces and fun new surprises in store. Keep an eye on our Instagram for full party details later this spring, and in the meantime, get out there and explore the city — with your Urbanist Guide in hand, of course!
