You may have noticed it — the warmer weather, the slightly more crowded streets, the sun that sets a little bit later than usual. Summer is coming, and with it comes lots of brand new openings in your favorite neighborhoods around the city.

If this suddenly beautiful weather has you wanting to get out there and enjoy Pittsburgh even more than usual, you’ll be happy to hear that there are a few new spots to accommodate the sun-seeking masses. Whether you’re looking for a cold beer or a hot slice of pizza, here are just a few of the latest spring openings that are sure to become your summer go-tos.

Millie’s Soft Serve Pop-Up. We already can’t get enough of Millie’s incredible homemade ice creams, but since the city’s resident ice cream experts are always keeping things fresh, they’re one step ahead of our cravings with their brand new soft serve pop-up in Bakery Square. Head to the former Coffee Tree Roasters space to taste the two traditional soft serve flavors and two vegan options, starting on May 20. But don’t sleep on this one, they are only popping up in the space through Fall.

Cinderlands Warehouse. Spanning two floors in the Strip District, the brand new Cinderlands Warehouse softly opened this week and brought with it an expansion of the same concept as the original pocket sized spot in Lawrenceville. There’s a full brewhouse, seating space for 300 people and a much bigger menu featuring the same types of of lunch, dinner and brunch fare as the OG. Head over this weekend for the grand opening, new beer releases and more.

Pizzeria Davide. If DiAnoia’s pizza already sounds pretty perfect to you, then you might not even be able to handle the idea of eating it while camped out on your couch or picnicking at a scenic spot around town. With Pizzeria Davide, a to-go pizza window from the folks behind DiAnoia’s, you can choose between three types of classic pies (Old World, Marinara and Margarita) and specialty pies like Cacio e Pepe, Prosciutto and Hot Soppressata, then grab them to take with you or if you time it perfectly maybe one of the four picnic tables out front.  The good news keeps coming too. Your new favorite pizza spot is already open, with hours from Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

If you needed any more good food news in your life, Lucy is back from her annual winter hiatus slinging the best chicken banh mi in the city on 23rd & Penn Ave in the Strip.  All this and it isn’t even summer yet!
